Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe bananas about 1½ cups mashed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 cup toasted pecans or walnuts chopped

Preheat And Prepare

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Mash The Bananas

  • In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • To the mashed bananas, add the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Combine Wet And Dry Mixtures

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Add Nuts (Optional)

Bake
